Utility Bills (Electricity and Water) 水电费（Electricity and Water）
The University will only cover monthly utility charges up to RM150 at the Damaipuri hostel. If usage exceeds RM150, the student tenants must pay the balance of the bill stated in the financial statement that is available on QIU's student portal. 大学仅承担每月水电费RM150（Damaipuri）。如果用额超过RM150，入住该单位的学生/租户将付该超额费用，此账单可在QIU Student Portal（学生QIU个人账号）查询。

- The minimum charge for accommodation is equivalent to one month's fees. (Assuming students stay less than 1 month, they are required to pay for one more month charges.)

- The charges provided represent the minimum cost per stay for university accommodation. 所列费用为学生每次入住大学宿舍时的最低费用。
- Rental is charged monthly. If a student leaves in less than a month, please note that one month's rent will still be charged. No refunds will be made. 租金按月计算。若学生在住宿时长未满一个月，仍会收取一个月的租金，不提供退款。
- Rent must be paid within the first week of a student moving into the hostel. 租金必须在学生入住宿舍后的首周缴付。
- Damaging property/furniture/fittings in the hostel units is strictly forbidden. 严禁损坏宿舍单位的物业/家具/配件。
- If any items/fittings/fixtures are damaged or broken, the cost of repairs/replacements will be borne by the student (as per the bill). 如果有任何物品/配件/固定设备损坏或破损，修理/更换的费用将由学生承担（依据账单）。
- Students are responsible for their unit keys, room keys and access cards and NOT allowed to lend these to anybody under any circumstances. 学生需保管好各自的宿舍单位钥匙、房间钥匙和门禁卡，不允许在任何情况下将钥匙借给他人。
- If a student loses or misplaces their unit keys/room keys/access cards, they will be charged RM30 (Alpine Village Hostel) or RM130 (Damaipuri Hostel) for replacement. 若学生丢失或遗失了单位的房间钥匙/门禁卡，学生将被收取30令吉（Alpine宿舍）或130令吉（Damaipuri宿舍）来替换相关卡。
- Students are responsible for keeping their rooms and the common area clean and tidy at all times. 学生有责任保持房间及公共区域的清洁与整洁。
- Smoking, gambling, and the consumption of alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited. 严禁吸烟/赌博以及饮酒与吸食毒品。
- Students are strictly prohibited from admitting strangers or persons of the opposite gender into their hostel apartments. 严禁学生允许陌生人或异性进入宿舍单位。
- NO pets are allowed inside the hostel. 宿舍内不允许饲养宠物。
- Hostel rates and surcharges are net. However, the University reserves the right to revise room rates as necessary. 宿舍租金及附加费是净额。无论如何，大学保留根据需要调整房间费用的权利。
- When a student decides to move out of the hostel, they must give the Housing Manager of the Student Life Division (SLD), two months' notice and follow the designated check-out procedures. 当学生决定搬离宿舍时，必须在至少两个月前通知学生事务部（SLD）宿管经理并完成退宿程序。
